Zamanda geriye doğru yolculuk yapmanın en kısa yolu tarih okumaktır

Beşir Ayvazoğlu

(1953-….)

Grief Strikes Suddenly

The road suddenly grows thin

And stretches without me

I don’t know what’s behind the mountains

Sorrow comes suddenly

Death smiles suddenly

Divides history in half

The majestic dead rise from their graves

Thousands of whips crack heavily

Thoroughbred mares rear up and neigh

Birds are screaming

Suddenly it rains

Here there’s a broken tile

The lines are deep and fine

They tell the secret history

Of many fair victories
